Description
This method is used to determine the tendency of a substance or a substantial mixture to inhibit corrosion. With the results, a principal classification of the ability of a substance to inhibit corrosion is possible. In a defined test water, coupons are moved at a certain velocity or rotation. The iron content in the test water is determined and compared to a blank value as well as a coupon evaluation based on ASTM D 2668.
